Host: Ph. purpurea subsp. bohemica is apparently only parasitic on Artemisia campestris L., s.l. It was also cited by Beck (1930: 111) and other authors on Achillea millefolium L. [unconfirmed, probably in error for Artemisia campestris L.] (cf. Annotated Checklist of Host Plants of Orobanchaceae, accessed 19 June 2009).
