Specimens examined and literature records.Italy / Italia [Caruel, 1885: 358, sub Kopsia aegyptiaca; Arcangeli, 1894: 417, sub Kopsia aegyptiaca; uncorfimed], the Kopsia aegyptiaca has been recorded from Italy ("monte Gallo presso Palermo") by Caruel (1885: 358), who pointed out that it had been gathered by Lojacono as "Phelipaea elongata Loj.! crit.
